This blog is about my love of freedom to say and explore Christianity in the age of Electronics and that Electronics has had a culture with a zest for freedom of speech and safety from risks.
But it was not until I saw in Amos 8 or 9, that God will one day move the Sun for the third and last time, that I thought, that at least blog preparation is needed for that time, when electronics and electrical generation may fail globally for as much as 10 years. (Possibly more with the probable international chaos)
Also with zero days warning and that compared to the extreme Solar Storm called the Carrington Event, that has a 2 day warning for as much as 2 months without electricity. (in this country but 10 years in some countries). [Please study the Bible, its at least a valid way to Praise God]

Who knows how weird a world without electricity would be.
So more people should understand electronics.

Here is a picture of a teacher uses circuits on cardboard to teach auto electronics in the USA.
Cardboard Circuits are needed, due to a biological requirement in the learning process for a less abstract way of learning things generally. The cardboard could have some paper with the schematic circuit diagram and one threads the components with the lines of the schematic. Connections could be made with electrical terminal strips.
Nowadays non soldered electronics is usually built on a prototype inserting breadboard block, which defies common sense, though it is still the best way to prototype.

Here is a picture of Vero board that allows a way of making a prototype with solder.
Eventually I would like to send and receive Morse Code radio signals but with something to code and decode for my less than musical ability. It would need to be made of parts that are likely to still be available in 50 years for a good example.

The easiest microprocessor I know of is the 1802 which is well explained by Lee Hart.
It has 8 bits for data and 8 bits for memory. Its registers are very flexible and simple. It was made Joseph Weisbecker (some programs by his daughter Joyce as early as the early 1970s) by for Radio Corporation of America. It is now owned and made by Intersil.

I am amazed at the history of a microprocessor called the 65816 which was created in 1984 and is owned by Bill Mensch and his company Western Design Centre from his involvement with the success of the 6502 (It has 8 bits for data and 16 for memory. The registers are addressable in the first page of memory.)
I believe it is the only computer that has ever been used in an e book for the Bible alone with no other purposes. In about 1987 a company used it, called Franklin for a few things and one of them was an e book and they still sell newer versions of.
Bill Mensch has a general philosophy that study is worth more than just being religious, which he calls "Imbedded Intelligence".
The 65816 has 16 bits for data and 24 for memory. The registers are addressable in the first page of memory.
The advantage for the radio, is that it can listen better on your behalf to the signal among the hiss via an analog to digital converter.
Arduino and Raspberry Pi are better still, but are seemingly more complex.
Partly because they do seem to change instead of staying the same over the years.
But if you like Python interpreting on your behalf, then it can save a lot of time.
But for me either BASIC or Assembly language feels better because I can almost imagine the schematics of the inside of the 65816.
That could be important, if you had to build a computer out of wood, cardboard, in a whole room with a lot of transistors.
Who knows how weird a world without electricity would be.

Background.
Electronics, it used to be a minority interest in 1975 when I first went to Technical College for 3 years in South London Technical College.
It was a non religious place, but I got the feel of a protective ethic, as some of the lecturer's were old enough to have served in WW2.
There I met Roy Fuller, the son or a Caribbean immigrant who took me to a Pentecostal Baptist church in Battersea. He used to sing hymns to other Christians in the Maths classroom during lunch.
One was a tall Caribbean called Ferguson, who used to write on the chalk and blackboard, many memorised Scripture. Another one was the son of an African chief, and he played audio guitar.
I did not go to the church much, and avoided my local churches, for fear of having stares of locals and being brain thoughts read etc etc.
After my first job began, I went a lot, maybe because it was doing rescuing electronics in the form of Lifeboat Radio.
Even though I saw a gangster convert and get married, after 6 months I eventually left.
Because the Pastor said I should stop using pornography.
My Dad was anti church going and was a painter of naked models, but he respected fine art and culture.
I loved my porn, and explored why it seemed so interesting.
So from 1980 till 1995 I would think to myself its just irritating fairy tails, and was greatly interested in Green Politics and Hippy stuff.
Now I try not to use porn and try to cut down the porn to as soft as I can, to try to please God and co watching my messy reality.
I never got married, excuses:-
-Cant drive.
-Lost my work due to electronics changing so much.
-Mild to Moderate Dyslexia (couldn't read till I was 9 or speak till I was 5) and possibly Dysfraxia.
-In 2012 found that I have Hypo Thyroid, which slows the brain, breathing and heart beat.
-Maybe I am a bit Autistic my Sister says.
